Dear God............... Terrorists day Sept. 11, 2001

Dear God my heart is heavy tonight

from the tragic events of this day.

Many people need you today

and have been calling you their way.

Death, pain, loss and suffering

have all been a result of a terrorist act.  

I come to you today not praying for our losses

but to pray for the one’s who YOU they lack.

For their hearts must be filled with hatred

and no regard for any of human mankind.

To kill and devastate as they have so callously done

makes me know that you or Jesus is not on their mind.

And so dear Lord please help them

for they know not what they do.

At this point there is only one who can help them

and that of course dear God is YOU.

Please join me in prayer if you feel it in your heart, because if we do not help those who are our enemies then how can we ever help those who our loved ones.  Jesus never discriminated as to whom he helped.  Let us rise above this pain and hurt and pray for help to those who need it most so they may never take another life again.
