Wal-Mart Stores, a private carrier, wants to hire safe truckers for their private fleet. They offer good, stable work to hard workers.Committed to inspiring safey, annually Wal-Mart recognizes excellent carriers in their respective categories. A few of those categories include Express Carrier of the Year, Produce Carrier of the Year, Rising Star Carrier of the Year and Innovative Carrier of the Year. Carriers were recognized and awarded for criteria including revenue/growth, ease of doing business, communication, flexibility, customer service and follow-up/correction of errors.
Wal-Mart wants to recruit and retain truck drivers. They offer drivers $900 a week, plus a $1000 signing bonus. Drivers are home every weekend. Requirements include having a CDL Class A drivers license for 3 months, verifiable first seat experience in the last year, or 12 months experience in the last 3 years. Drivers must have experience hauling 45 and longer flatbeds or trailers.
Wal-Mart also requires that drivers have
No DUIs or related incidents in the last 5 years
No felonies in the last 5 years
No drug or violent related felonies ever
No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
No more than 2 accidents in the last 2 years
Wal-Mart is looking for permanent placement of drivers, and they will receive full benefits after 60 days, and 401k savings start immediately.
